Grimsby and Cleethorpes Model Engineering Society

Alan Wright is a supporter from Ontario, Canada, who sent some pictures of his Cock O’ The North model in build progress. The Gauge One model is built to scale 10mm= 1ft. It has an alcohol fired boiler which supplies a 3 cylinder drive system.
John Cottam’s model of LNER P2 Wolf of Badenoch locomotive in 5” gauge is regularly exhibited at shows and model engineering events. Pictures of the model at Harrogate in 2014 are available on the Model Engineering website.
The model was running in steam at Chesterfield & District Model Engineering Society (Hady Hill). David Court can be seen getting instruction from John (hidden in steam) before taking control.
The P2 Wolf of Badenoch was seen at the Festival of British Railway Modelling in Doncaster on the Leyland Society of Model Engineers stand.
